We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to increase chronic pain & suffering awareness and provide products and services to those impacted by serious chronic pain and debilitating conditions. We hope to add a gentle light and soft understanding with an embrace that represents our Lord.
MY STORY
After the diagnosis and removal of three lacrimal gland benign mixed tumors of my left eye, spanning over the last 20 years, I’ve been diagnosed with “cranial” Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). My condition has spread from damaged and entangled nerves around my left eye, into my head, neck, and now down both arms and hands. For the last several years, my brain and nervous system have been mis-aligned, creating havoc in my body. A wide range of attacks within my body are part of my every day, the most prominent and loud being fever and pain. As my life’s shifted away from what was once my goals and dreams, putting the breaks on and causing a mighty disruption as I'm passing through the wide emotional and mental toll that was cast over my life.
In spite of all of this, after endless days of lessons, growth opportunities and building mental/spiritual muscles, I’ve come to cherish this great disruption! It’s brought me back to life's most precious teachings and magnified them endlessly!... The GREAT caretaker COMPASSION, SEEING from the SOUL, the HEALING of LAUGHTER, the DEPTH of TRUEST JOY, WHOLENESS found in SERVICE and the MIGHTY multiplier LOVE!

Globally, about one in five, or 1.5 billion people, suffer from chronic pain! In the U.S. alone, about 10% (great potential to rise) of suicides were due to chronic pain. There are far too many among us suffering chronic and isolating conditions with often not enough love and lifting because of confusion and fear. We have a strong respect and inclusion for chronic pain and many other conditions that cause human suffering. We’re already increasing awareness through our guest interviews and have a general pulse of what’s lacking but needs refining.
It’s not enough!
We need your help to accomplish our much larger vision of giving simple gifts of love and light through products and services. Help us get into the homes of those suffering alone, with very small or limited support, especially those who remain in a constant chronic state of suffering and at “end of life”. We have huge dreams for a community often pushed aside and forgotten. With our unique vision and purpose, we believe we can offer something different and lasting. Help create more awareness, opportunities, caretaker and sufferers retreats, animal therapy, a website that offers fresh ideas, an interactive platform and safe place for this community to serve one another. Help us build Spoon Full Of Sugar Inc into a global force with appropriate staff and our continued sights set on moving forward with creating new products and services that compliment those already in use.
